The Cleveland Controls DNS2-1152-00 High Pressure Switch is a safety control device designed to monitor and regulate pressure levels in HVAC systems. It operates using an internal diaphragm that senses system pressure and activates a switch when a preset limit is reached, interrupting the electrical circuit to prevent unsafe conditions. Commonly used in air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and air handling units, it protects critical components such as compressors from overpressure. Benefits include enhanced system safety, reliable pressure control, reduced risk of equipment damage, improved operational efficiency, and extended HVAC system lifespan.
