The General Electric WR60X28408 Refrigerator Evaporator Fan DC12V helps maintain consistent cooling by circulating cold air evenly throughout the refrigerator and freezer compartments. This DC-powered fan motor is designed to move air across the evaporator coil, allowing the cooling system to distribute chilled air efficiently to preserve food freshness. It works by converting electrical power into rotational movement, driving the fan blades to maintain steady airflow and balanced temperatures. Replacing a faulty evaporator fan can used to restore proper air circulation, improve cooling performance, and reduce temperature fluctuations. It is an essential component for supporting reliable refrigeration, efficient cooling, and overall appliance performance.
