The Resideo C7089U1006 Remote Outdoor Temperature Sensor is a wired sensing device designed to measure outdoor air temperature for HVAC control systems. Installed outside the building, it detects ambient temperature and sends accurate data to compatible thermostats or controllers, enabling optimized system operation. It supports functions such as dual-fuel management and auxiliary heat lockout in heat pump systems. Commonly used with thermostats, zoning panels, and air conditioning or heating equipment, it enhances efficiency and comfort. Benefits include precise temperature monitoring, improved energy savings, reliable performance, and better system responsiveness.
